"We‘ll Play Well Against Mozambique" – Keshi Assures + Explains Why Team Lost To Mali

Super Eagles head coach Stephen Keshi is trying to move on from his side’s 2-1 loss to Mali in the African Nations Championship (CHAN) opener on Saturday night.

Keshi, who flew into Cape Town on the day of the all-West Africa clash after staying behind to receive his Coach of the Year accolade at the CAF Awards last week, is determined to turn things around, when his side lines up against the Mambas in a do-or-die encounter today.
The coach commented on the disappointing game results:
"Gradually, they are getting off it (the loss) but I must admit that only three players played well in the last game and that was why we lost. We expect 11 players to play well on Wednesday for us to get the result we want," he added.
Mozambique also lost the first match by a 3-1 scoreline to hosts Bafana Bafana in the tournament’s opening
fixture.
