Thugs Stop Audu Abubakar, Dino Melaye from APC registration in Kogi

The duo of former Gov. Abubakar Audu and   former member of the House of Representatives, Mr Dino Melaye , were effectively barred   by  party youths from  registering at the state  headquarters of  APC in Lokoja    on Thursday,, as they protested  their coming to the headquarters, instead of going to their different wards to register.

The youths had taken over the premises of the party secretariat as early as 6.30 am to frustrate the party chieftains from registering at the secretariat, to protest their  wholesome attempt to  hijack the APC   to the exclusion of  other legacy parties.

The situation which could have turned  to an ugly violence, was however checked as the police  and other
security agencies  guided   the party chieftains out   of the area.
