Malaysian Airlines Plane Crash: Haunting selfie taken by single mother and 15-year old son before take-off
A mother and her schoolboy son posed for a haunting selfie aboard the doomed Malaysia Airlines jet. They were travelling to Kuala Lumpur on a trip aimed at single parents and their children.
Gary Slok, 15, took the touching picture with his mum Petra as they settled into their seats while flight MH17 prepared to take off.
Little did they know that would be their last as the Boeing 777 was cruising at 33,000ft when it was blasted out of the sky, killing all 298 passengers and crew.
