New Leaders Will Soon Emerge In Nigeria, Tinubu Assures After Surgery
Nigerians of all faith have been urged to pray fervently that the
predictions of doom, hardship, political instability and religious
intolerance will not come to fruition. The Former Governor of Lagos
State, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, who is currently recuperating from a recent
successful surgery, sent this message to all Nigerians as Muslims across
the country mark the end of Ramadan.
While wishing all Muslims Eid Mubarak and happy Sallah celebrations,
Tinubu urged that Muslims must not stop praying and fasting for Nigeria
because Ramadan was over warning that danger lies ahead for Nigeria.
"As our country continues its search for an equilibrium-politically, economically and in terms of religious harmony, men of God and their followers must never stop to offer prayers.
The Ramadan period was another opportunity for Muslims to pay penitence, but most importantly pray for the peace and progress of Nigeria. Nigeria needs prayers but also good leaders," he said.
Tinubu urged Nigerians to work for the good of the nation and prayed
that very soon, leaders with vision, vigour and vibrant capacity will be
voted into office to lead Nigeria onto the right path. "Nigeria is not a
broken case. It is redeemable and only the people can make this change
happen by voting right and wisely," he said.
