“Rest easy Aunty Dora”: Genevieve Nnaji, others Pay Tribute and mourn Dora Akunyili
Some Nigerian celebrities have taken to social media to mourn the former director general of NAFDAC, Dora Akinyuli, who passed on this morning.
Former Miss Nigeria, Omowunmi Akinnifesi shared the photo above on Instagram with the caption: “I will miss you aunty Dora Akunyili. A woman of truth. A role model to Nigerian Women. She did so much for Nigeria. May her soul rest in perfect peace. Amen.”
Popular Nollywood director, Lancelot Imasuen wrote on Facebook ““Hastily let’s gear up to make positive impact on the sand of time…in what ever position we find ourselves..lets make haste for good….two great giants falling at same period….and my worry the bad and evil spoilers of the land still standing strong waiting to carry out more of their evil enterprise..God I look up to you!!! Professor Dora Akunyili passed away aged 59 in an Indian Hospital where she was receiving cancer treatment.
May her gentle soul rest in peace.
