The Super Eagles midfielder Babatunde Michael, injured in the second half of the Wednesday game against Argentina, prays for the success of his colleagues at the ongoing World Cup.
The player was ruled out by the Nigerian coach from further participation in the Mundial following the surgery he had undergone to fix the damaged wrist.
After the successful surgery Babatunde has turned into a "prayer warrior" for his team, fcnaija reports.
He supported his colleagues by saying:
"I will be praying for the team and I am sure they will do the nation proud in this World Cup."
It would be recalled that despite loss to the Group F leader Argentina (2-3), the Nigerian team qualified for the round 16 of the World Cup and will clash with France on Monday, June 30.
Meanwhile Keshi’s men have reportedly resumed training in Brasilia to prepare for the upcoming game.
