Yesterday, author of the widely successful franchise "James Bond",
Anthony Horowitz, said that Idris Elba is too street to play James Bond.
In his words:
For me, Idris Elba is a bit too rough to play the part. It’s not a color issue. I think he is probably a bit too ‘street’ for Bond."Horowitz made the remark while doing promotional interviews for his new James Bond novel, Trigger Mortis, and as you can imagine, his comments brought him A LOT of backlash from the
entire world especially the black community.
Anthony has now taken to social media to write a new statement and an apology to Elba and the world.
