'FG can handle IPOB, we don’t need foreign help" - Minister of Foreign Affairs, Geoffrey Onyeama, says

Minister of Foreign Affairs, Geoffrey Onyeama, has described the Indigenous Peoples of Biafra (IPOB) as an internal threat that would not be needing foreign help to curtail by the Federal government. The Minister said this in an interview with journalists in New York yesterday September 15th.
“IPOB is, as of now, an internal threat and Nigeria does not need international assistance to resolve it. Boko Haram is not an internal threat; it is an international threat. When the group pledged allegiance to the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria (ISIS), it became international threat.” he said.
