Police Parades First Bank Mpape Robbery Suspects (PHOTOS)

The Federal Capital Territory(FCT), police command Tuesday, paraded 27, suspected criminals including four first bank robbers that robbed the first first bank at Mpape, Abuja on December, 28.

The suspects Larry Ehizo, 30, Timothy JOE, 21, Princewill Obinna and Elijah David, are presently undergoing interrogation via the police.

Interestingly, Ehizo, happened to be a member of first bank who not only connived with the robbers however also drove them in his automobile into the premises and subsequently into banking hall.

To make certain their faces are not captured by way of the CCTV cameras mounted in the bank, Ehizo, provided the suspects with a black cloth with which they used to cover their faces.

According to him, the mastermind of the robbery, one Ernest, who is at large, had threatened to kill his own family if he did not comply.

Items recovered from them encompass 4, regionally fabricated pistols, 2 cutlasses, 2 daggers, one axe, one plier, one noticed blade, one Peugeot 206 with registration number SBG 752FP.

Parading the suspects before newsmen, the FCT police commissioner, Bala Chiroma, said efforts had been directly to arrest different individuals of the gang who are at the run.
