A legendary collaboration took place at the 2014 Grammy Awards, which aired live from the Staples Center in Los Angeles on Sunday, Jan. 26. Pop icon Madonna took the stage with rapper Macklemore & Ryan Lewis and featured vocalist Mary Lambert to sing the marriage-equality anthem "Same Love."
But that wasn't the only historic moment from the performance. Performer, actress, and talk show host Queen Latifah officiated the weddings of 33 couples, including Ryan Lewis' sister Laura.

The emotional moment is reminiscent of the performance at the 2013 VMAs when American Idol alum Jennifer Hudson also joined the Grammy-nominated stars on stage for a duet on the tune.

Madonna also treated the crowd to an excerpt of her hit "Open Your Heart" with a featured choir to back the legend up as the newly-wed couples danced joyously in the aisles.

As the married couples exited the auditorium, the crowd jumped to their feet, and many, including Keith Urban, wiped back tears.
